Our club has a holiday project sponsoring and decorating a tree at Ker Place located on Market Street in Onancock! The trees will line the walkway leading to Ker Place and have a sign displaying the sponsor’s name. It is a great way to promote our club and make ourselves visible in the community at this festive time of year!
Ker Hall send out emails that notify each of last year’s club / sponsors of dates the trees are ready to be decorated (dates change each year.)
What We Do as Sponsors
We need 3-5 members who are in the Christmas spirit and would be willing to decorate the tree on the club’s behalf. The choice of the theme is up to the group, however our budget for this is very limited. We can decorate anyway you want and get donated supplies from members.
The Club has the lights and decorations for the tree (and will purchase additional lights only when needed), we need an outdoor exterior extension cord, they recommend no less than 25 feet in length.
Ker Hall will notify club of dates to decorate as dates change each year. You can decorate anyway you want and get donated supplies from members.
